Artist's Description

About Gary Brandes

Gary Brandes

I have a love for photography and have been involved in the world of art for the past 20 years. I was a professional picture framer and gallery owner on the central coast of California. I had lived in that area for 25 years. That was one of the most beautiful places in the country. My favorites to photograph are the back wood and water falls in this area. I also have a passion for the California Missions. I have not been to all of them, but hope to photograph them in the future. I enjoy working with my photography in photoshop, just to see what I can create. To me, taking the photo is only half the fun. It's a wonderful day when I can spend it doing nothing but hiking around the woods and shooting pictures. I hope everyone enjoys my images...
